A few days ago Stewart shared a poem with me.
That poem has become very important to me.
I would like to share it with you all this morning and to ask you to help OUR music create an epidemic, a disease, a world-wide plague.
Smiling is infectious, you can catch it just like flu -
When someone started smiling at me today I started smiling too.
I walked around the corner and someone saw me grin.
When he smiled I realised I had passed it on to him.
I thought about the smile and understood its worth.
A single smile like mine could travel round the earth.
So if you feel a smile begin do not leave it undetected
Start an epidemic and get the world infected !
THE GERIATRIC DJ - I may be the person but I am NOT the BRAND. Freddie Mercury was the LEAD SINGER of Queen but he was NOT the leader of the band. The band was a family and only achieved all they did by being that family. Will you become a part of our family ?

FIRST are you a member of The Geriatric DJ Facebook Group ? Within just a few days membership has gone from ZERO to 194 - we need to add a zero to that number and have 1,940. PLEASE join and invite all of your own Facebook friends to join.
NEXT listen to the music....
THEN we need people to join the team at what ever level they wish, from simply sharing the music to infect people with the smile to taking on a role of co-ordinating support for one of the individual good causes we support. PLEASE LOOK AT THE AREAS WE NEED TO FILL
Sunday 13th January 2019 3pm - please put that date in your diary. Let's all get together and share thoughts and release the infection.
